As part of the re-branding and expansion of branch buildings for Jersey Shore State Bank, Anthony H. Visco, Jr. Architects was tasked with providing a design for a new branch bank on a compact site located just off the Golden Strip in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Incorporating staff and customer parking, an ATM, and drive-thru facilities onto the limited site presented the greatest design challenges.
The new branch building houses expanding mortgage services on the second and third floors, traditional banking services on the ground level, and an employee lounge, restrooms, exercise and meeting rooms, and locker facilities on the lowest level. The transition to a new bank President spurred a movement to a more contemporary appearance. To incorporate a more modern appearance, stone veneer and metal panels on the exterior of the building has become a standard for future design.
